  17. Still get emotional everytime I see this. I was there in 99′. I’v seen alot
    of amazing things in my time supporting City. Promotions, relegations,
    winning the FA cup after 35 years of misery, securing Champions League
    football thanks to Crouchy the insect and hammering the rags 6-1 at the
    swamp. But the 99′ playoff final takes the buscuit for every City who
    witnessed this. Dickov is a pure ledgend thanks to that. If it wasen’t for
    Paul, where would we be now? I’m guessing non-league football.

    the league, chelsea tried to do the same thing,look where that got them!
    with a load of sacked managers and fernando torres.

  19. people always talk about dickov’s bulge when he scored this goal. I was in
    the changing room after this game and there was loads of city fans in there
    joining in the fun as the players celebrated in the baths and showers. I
    remember the after-match celebrations well. Seeing dickov stripping out of
    his shorts was great..
